Third Time in Morocco

The Abdullah Gül University was represented for a third time at the a2 International Student Fairs in Morocco this Spring!

Head of the AGU International Office, Emeric Abrignani, participated in the very-well organized four-day event that allowed universities to promote their study programs among high school and graduate students in Casablanca and Marrakech.AGU, Abdullah Gül University, Student, International, recruitment, fairs, Casablanca, morocco, apply to, AGU

The trip started in Casablanca, where Emeric was picked up and received a warm welcome from our student recruitment partner Flexyclass. During the visit a meeting was also organized at the Flexyclass offices in order to discuss recruitment strategy, how to promote the University in the most effective way across Morocco and how to put future AGU students from Morocco in the best conditions before starting their study journey and experience and Turkey (such as by guiding them through application, immigration and enrollment processes).

AGU and the other universities participating in the a2 Fairs started by visiting 6 high schools during their first two days in Casablanca:

  • Groupe Scolaire Omar El Farouk
  • Groupe Scolaire Yassamine
  • Groupe Scolaire Al Madina Californie
  • Groupe Scolaire Al Madina Ain Sebaa
  • Groupe Scolaire Aniss
  • Groupe Scolaire Berrada

On the third day, an open study fair was organized at the Hotel Sheraton Casablanca. As always the fair attracted many visitors and the Abdullah Gül University fair stand itself is becoming very popular in Morocco.

Now, many of the students visiting the AGU booth come already knowing a lot about the University , its programs and the services it provides. Many of them also already learned about the Moroccan students currently at AGU, either because they are friends from High School, or because they have read the blog entries or event contacted them directly to learn more about AGU.

During his time there, Emeric also met with some of the Directors of the best High Schools in Casablanca and Marrakech, who are now familiar with the University and are willing to see some of their students study in Turkey and at AGU in particular because of its approach and international, 100% English environment.

AGU also received the visit from educational agents willing to represent the University in Morocco. Student recruitment agents are always interested in representing the Abdullah Gül University due to its innovative approach, high quality professors and facilities, as well as its 100% English and affordable programs (with a great quality/cost ratio), which already attract many international students.

The a2 Fairs universities also visited two more High Schools in Marrakech:

  • Groupe Scolaire Zola 2
  • Groupe Scolaire Ariha

AGU continues to have a very positive experience with students fairs in Morocco and to attract many new prospect students for the upcoming academic year.

Applications for undergraduate and graduate programs are now open online and we look forward to receiving new applications from Moroccan students, along with the ones already received prior to the fair.
