AGU signs new Cooperation Agreements in Iran

The Abdullah Gül University continues its efforts to develop its international network and to pave the way for future collaboration projects such as student/staff exchanges and joint research projects, by signing memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements with fellow higher education institutions.

Recently AGU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, joined a visiting trip to Iran, organized by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), which had as an objective to promote the exchange of views and opinions on comprehensive cooperation in higher education. The visit also included the Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Prof. Yekta Saraç, as well as his fellow Council members.

During his time in the country, Prof. Dr. Sabuncuoğlu signed cooperation agreements in the name of AGU with the two top Iranian universities: Sharif University of Technology and Iran University of Science and Technology.

AGU’s Academic Departments will now have the opportunity to develop new education and research projects with their Iranian counterparts at SUT and IUST.
